Built in 2007 for Alex Thomson by renowned French architects Finot Conq, this IMOCA Open 60 was designed specifically for Alex’s style of solo round the world racing.
The boat has been fully refitted and measured in 2011.
History
The boat was one of the most powerful in the Class and during the 2007 Barcelona World Race broke the world monohull 60’ distance record, which Alex already held, and then went onto to take 2nd place in the first edition of this double handed round the world race.
