The Owen Clarke/Clay Oliver designed Open 60 Gamesa (formerly Ecover 3) underwent major optimisation work in September 2011. Gamesa has a lighter classic rig and modified to reduce weight and make it more suited to solo
sailing. She has already competed in the Transat Jacques Vabrethree times (5th in 2007, 3rd in 2009 and 9th in 2011) and participated in the 2008 Vendée Globe.
