Winner of the Vendée Globe 2008-2009 with Michel Desjoyeaux, this Bruce Farr design is performing, sane, and reliable. Iker Martinez sailed her during the Barcelona World Race (round the world race) 2010, before Jérémie Beyou in May 2012 under the Maître CoQ colors. He abandoned during the Vendée Globe. The boat was then refitted in 2013, under the MARE colors, whose skipper was Jörg Riechers.
In 2014, she won the Barcelona World Race under Cheminées Poujoulat’s colors, skippered by Bernard Stamm and Jean Le Cam. After this winning round the world race, in 2015, Jean Le Cam bought her, to prepare for the Vendée Globe 2016.
The boat was fully refitted, form the bottom of the keel to the top of the mast, and optimized. Jean would eventually finish 6th of the 2016 Vendée Globe. Since September 2019, the boat will be under the CORUM L’Épargne colors, for the Transat Jacques Vabre, with Nicolas Troussel and Jean Le Cam onboard.
