Launched in the colours of PRB in 2006, this boat forms part of a wave of 60-foot IMOCAs designed by Farr Yacht Design.
This powerful, high-performance boat was revamped after being damaged in the Vendée Globe 2008-2009 (tied in 3rd with PRB (reclassification following a dismasting due to an assistance operation after 59 days at sea). She finished 7th in the Transat Jacques Vabre 2009 and the Route du Rhum 2010 in the hands of Arnaud Boissières, who also competed in the Vendée Globe 2012-2013. Tanguy de Lamotte took command of her for the 2016-2017 edition of the Vendée Globe, but after a few days at sea, he was forced to retire due to masthead breakage. Yannick BESTAVEN acquired her in March 2017 and the same year finished 5th in the Transat Jacques Vabre with Kito de PAVANT. In 2019, the skipper from Toulon in southern France, Clément Giraud, purchased the lMOCA, ex-Maitre CoQ, with a view to participating in the Vendée Globe 2020.
