Welcome to our supporters!

In 2011 IMOCA launched its Supporting Partners Club designed to bring together the main suppliers for the various IMOCA projects.

In 2012 our supporters stand by our side in the Vendée Globe.

We are keen to showcase the involvement of all these suppliers in our projects. In their own fields, each of them brings along their unique skills and expertise, which in turn contributes to the success of our enterprises.
Through our website and our presence at events that make up our World Championship, we will help publicise the richness of our network.

The following have joined the IMOCA Supporters Club:

North Sails manufactures sails around the world on every type of boat. North Sails has a heavy involvement in competition and its sail loft in Vannes, Brittany, is a reference in offshore racing and in the IMOCA class. Thank you to North Sails’ Manager Bruno Dubois, who gave rise to this Supporters’ Club initiative. www.uk.northsails.com

Geolink is IMOCA’s reference telecom provider. In addition to managing telecommunications, it supplies the necessary computer programmes for the transmission of digital data, including onboard images. Its solution “ClipWay” has been selected by the Vendée Globe. www.geolink.com

DP “sailcloth technology”. Through its innovative developments and technologies the Dimension Polyant Company has become the world leader in the sail material market. Its technical fabric kits out a large number of the IMOCA boats. www.dimension-polyant.com

Lorima, a Lorient-based company which builds carbon mast and spars, is kitting out nine boats competing in the Vendée Globe 2012. Alongside maxi-yachts and record-breaking multihulls, IMOCA has been further expanding Lorima’s experience. Today their masts are constantly circumnavigating the globe, culminating in a number of victories, the most recent of which include that of Banque Populaire and Groupama. www.lorima-carbon-mast.com

Etoile Marine Croisières, a shipping company set up in St Malo and on the Atlantic coast, it brings the sea to life for its clients. Etoile Marine gives historic and racing boats a new lease of life. In attendance at all the IMOCA race starts, it enables its passengers to journey to the very heart of the events. www.etoile-marine.com

CDK Technologies has been building offshore racing boats for over 25 years. The CDK yard first etched its name on the Vendée Globe winners’ list way back in 1992 alongside Alain Gautier, again in 2004 with Vincent Riou and in 2008 with Michel Desjoyeaux. In 2012 five boats and seven masts built by CDK will take the start of the Vendée Globe. www.cdk-technologies.com

Guelt, a Brittany based mechanical engineering business, is recognised for having made a number of IMOCA keels. Guelt is specialised in complex machining and can manufacture keels, bulbs, other appendages and various pieces of deck hardware. www.guelt.com
