IMOCA General Meeting on 19 April

IMOCA’s next general meeting will take place this Friday 19 April in the premises of the Fédération Française de Voile (French Sailing Federation) in Paris.

For this occasion, the OSM company (Open Sports Management), which is in charge of the development of the World Championship and its programme, will present the framework for the various actions it intends to carry out over the coming months.

The second major theme to be discussed over the course of the day will relate to the evolution and modification of the IMOCA class measurement. As is the case after every conclusion of the Vendée Globe race, the General Meeting will be viewed as an opportunity to analyse the single-handed round the world race and rule on the level of standardisation for certain key elements on the 60-foot monohulls.

Please note that on the eve of the meeting, namely 18 April, a debate has been organised in order to present all the class’ members and partners with the subjects and options to be discussed the following day during the General Meeting.
