Programmed meetings:
- Thursday 31 October, at 1430 hours: Initiatives Cœur with Tanguy de Lamotte and François Damiens
- Thursday 31 October, at 1500 hours: MACIF with François Gabart and Michel Desjoyeaux
- Thursday 31 October, at 1700 hours: Safran with Marc Guillemot and Pascal Bidegorry
- Friday 1 November, at 1230 hours: Maître CoQ with Jérémie Beyou and Christopher Pratt
The skippers must also satisfy certain obligations including the safety briefing organised in conjunction with the 24F pilots, today Wednesday 30 October at 1430 hours.
Right now the sailors are beginning to study the initial hours of racing. This involves running their routing software, with some doubt relating to the weather on Sunday 3 November which, according to the grib files, isn’t very appealing: 35 to 40 knots in the English Channel, which is likely to generate very heavy seas, making for a very tricky start. Response to follow within the next 48 hours.
