Tolrip, based in Brussels and managed by Mr. René Pirlot is specialised in risk management and insurance.
The company based in Lorient is a leader in the manufacture of carbon masts for offshore racing and has now been fully entrusted with the preparation of our boats.
Created in 1985, HYDROEM is specialised in the design and construction of hydraulic installations. In 1993, the company positioned itself in the competitive sailing sector. In 2000, Michel DESJOYEAUX won the Vendée Globe on PRB, which was equipped with HYDROEM tilting keel cylinders.
In 2004, out of 20 boats starting the round the world race alone and without assistance, 6 of them were already equipped by HYDROEM. At the end, Vincent RIOU on PRB and Jean LE CAM on BONDUELLE, both equipped with HYDROEM finished on the top 2 steps of the podium.

Since then, its involvement in the various teams has grown steadily and in 2014 IMOCA retained the company as the exclusive supplier of its standardised hydraulic assemblies.

OFFICIAL RACES

The Vendée Globe is a solo round-the-world race, passing through the three capes, without any stopovers or assistance, and is the grail for solo sailors. Starting every four years in Les Sables d'Olonne, the tenth edition of this reference race will set off on 10 November 2024, at 13h02.
The Ocean Race is often described as the world's longest and most extreme sporting event. Formerly known as the Whitbread Round the World Race and then the Volvo Ocean Race until 2018, the famous crewed round the world race is now called The Ocean Race.
Created in 1978, the Route du Rhum is one of the most popular sporting and maritime events. Renowned across France and with an increasingly wide audience internationally, it’s the reference transatlantic race.
Created in June 2020 and organised by the IMOCA Class and See-to-Sea, the Vendée-Arctique-Les Sables d'Olonne was intended to replace two major races in the IMOCA GLOBE SERIES Championship, The Transat CIC and the New-York-Vendée-Les Sables d'Olonne, both of which have been cancelled due to the health situation, but which are essential for the qualifications for the 2020 Vendée Globe
The oldest of the singlehanded races, The Transat (formerly OSTAR) was created in 1960 from a bet between a handful of British sailors to find out if they were capable of crossing the Atlantic singlehanded.
Created in 2015 by IMOCA and Open Sports Management, which is in charge of organising the IMOCA circuit races, the New York-Vendée transatlantic race takes the IMOCA fleet from one side of the Atlantic to the other over a 3,100 mile course. For its second edition, which will start in 2024, this transatlantic race will be organised by the SAEM Vendée.
In May 2021, the inaugural edition of The Ocean Race Europe was launched, a race bringing together crews at the helm of IMOCA and VO65 one-designs for a contact race between the Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean, over a course of three legs, all scoring the same number of points.
Born from the encounter between the IMOCA Class and the Lorient-based company Azimut, the Défi Azimut-Lorient Agglomération, an atypical ocean racing event, aims to combine performance, innovation and strategy. Sport at the highest level of competition on the water and a great deal of conviviality on land are the hallmarks of this event, which has been an undeniable success.
Classic, unmissable, popular, packed… there are countless ways to describe the Rolex Fastnet Race. Fast approaching its one hundredth anniversary edition, it has run from Cowes (on the Isle of Wight) to Plymouth since its creation in 1925, which equates to a 605-mile course via the very famous Fastnet Rock.
The Guyader Bermudes 1000 Race is a single-handed race reserved for IMOCA Class monohulls and is part of the IMOCA GLOBE SERIES Championship program (coefficient 2). It was created in 2018 and won by Paul Meilhat that same year.
The idea is to turn the ‘Retour à La Base’ into a singlehanded event that forms part of the IMOCA Globe Series Championship in November 2023, where it will serve as a qualifier for the Vendée Globe 2024-25.

World Sailing is the world governing body for the sport of sailing, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Created in 1919, the French Sailing Federation brings together all affiliated sports associations, national associations, profit-making organisations whose objective is the practice of one or more sailing disciplines.
