Profile
Since childhood, Trinitain Corentin Horeau, a graduate of La Marine Marchande, has had a passion for the sea, and Quiberon Bay is his favorite playground. He has cut his teeth on all types of support craft, both crewed and solo. Known for his steely resolve and unfailing fighting spirit, Corentin is a feared competitor on the pontoons.
A regular on the Figaro circuit and winner of the 2023 Solitaire, Corentin first entered the IMOCA class in 2023 as co-skipper alongside Benjamin Dutreux for the Transat Jacques Vabre.
In 2025, Team Paprec Arkéa announced that he would join Yoann Richomme as co-skipper for the season’s double-handed and crewed races. That same year, MACSF confirmed his appointment as the team’s skipper, along with taking over the IMOCA Paprec Arkéa.
He then began his first solo season with the 1000 Race, a 1,000-nautical-mile race held in the Bay of Biscay.
