Will Harris has been the main co-skipper of Team Malizia since 2019 and has participated in double-handed and crewed races, such as The Ocean Race in 2023.
Before joining Team Malizia, Will cut his teeth in the Figaro class, where he won the rookie category in his first year. Competing in Figaro as well as in other classes and races, he gained extensive experience in the world of offshore racing. Among his many achievements are his victory in the Rolex Fastnet Race 2021 in Class40, his success in the IRC 1 Overall in the Caribbean 600 2020, and his impressive third-place finish in The Ocean Race Europe in VO65 with the AkzoNobel team.
Will Harris also supports the team as a meteorologist, navigator, and speaker at various events.
In 2023, Will took part in the around-the-world crewed race with Team Malizia, forming an exceptional team alongside Boris Herrmann and Rosalin Kuiper. He made a lasting impression by climbing the IMOCA mast in the Southern Ocean in particularly challenging conditions.
In 2025, he will once again be part of the IMOCA crew under the Monaco flag.
