Presentation

The Paprec Group is taking the helm of a fully in-house IMOCA project for the 2028 Vendée Globe, with the construction of a new IMOCA for skipper Yoann Richomme, runner-up in the 2024–2025 Vendée Globe.

This new IMOCA, designed by the Antoine Koch / GSEA / Finot-Conq group, will be built at Multiplast in Vannes. It follows the same model as its predecessor, but with the ambition to push performance even further, drawing on the experience gained from over 50,000 nautical miles sailed in races. From cockpit ergonomics to architectural choices and onboard systems, everything will be rethought to surpass the limits of the previous IMOCA and aim for victory in 2028.
