BRUNO GARCIA: MASTER OF THE SEAS PORTRAIT

At 47 years of age, Bruno Garcia is attempting to successfully lead a double life as a part-time skipper and a full-time cardiologist. Reconciling his two passions has never been simple, when one relates to a profession and the other a hobby he can’t do without. A native of Barcelona, he’s remained faithful to the Catalonian capital, which he’s never left, aside from a few maritime escapades. It’s there that he lives with his wife and children.
This year Bruno Garcia will once again be at the start of the Barcelona World Race, this time with his brother Willy, aboard We are Water.
