Brian Thompson is a very experienced and successful sailor, with several round-the-world races under his belt and nearly 40 official world sailing speed records, including the prestigious Jules Verne Trophy.
With a victory in the Volvo Ocean Race in 2005–2006, a 6th place in the Route du Rhum, and another 6th place in the Vendée Globe 2008–2009, Brian is someone you want on your team for upcoming races!
In 2012, he held the record for the Jules Verne Trophy and kept it for 5 years.
