•••Carlos Manera Pascual is a Spanish sailor from Catalonia, born on June 11, 1998. The son of fishermen, he grew up by the Mediterranean Sea and began training in dinghy sailing at an early age. A passionate and dedicated seafarer, he is forging his path on the Mini 6.50 and Class40 circuits.
He took part in his first Mini Transat in 2021, then continued racing regularly on the circuit. In 2023, he delivered a remarkable performance by winning the first leg of the Mini Transat and finishing second overall in the prototype category.
In 2024, he joined the Class40 circuit and claimed victory in the Niji 40 aboard Team Snef. This win confirmed his ease with transatlantic races and his ability to perform on more demanding boats.
In 2025, Carlos Manera will take a new step by competing in his first IMOCA crewed races alongside Justine Mettraux on TeamWork – Team Snef.
