It was for the Italian Andrea Mura that this boat, initially named Vento di Sardegna, was launched on a plan designed by the architects VPLP-Verdier. Built in Italy, at the Persico Marine shipyard, it was launched in the summer of 2015.

In 2016, it was sold to the Dutchman Pieter Heerema who renamed it "No Way Back", took the start and completed the 2016-17 solo round the world voyage aboard. Designed in the same vein as the Banque Populaire d'Armel Le Cléac'h, winner of the event, it seduces Fabrice Amedeo who wishes to evolve technically and sporty in view of a new participation in the Vendée Globe in 2020. He then acquired it in the summer of 2017.
