Joseph Brault is an experienced sailor and has been the technical director of the Initiatives-Cœur team since 2023. A specialist in onboard systems, he ensures the boat’s reliability in all conditions.
For the 2025 Course des Caps, Joseph joins Sam Davies, Violette Dorange, and Vittoria Ripa di Meana on board. Drawing on his background in the Figaro, Mini 6.50, and ORMA multihulls, he oversees the technical aspects of the IMOCA, particularly energy systems, wiring, and telecommunications.
