Félix Oberle is a Swiss skipper from Aarau, now based in Lorient, where the Swiss team of Alan Roura is headquartered.
A mechanical engineer by training and a graduate of EPFL, he discovered sailing later in life but quickly became passionate about offshore racing.
He took his first steps offshore aboard a Mini 6.50. After three years competing with the best in the circuit, he finished 4th in the Mini Transat in the production class. Eager to progress, he will be racing on a higher-performance prototype in the 2025 edition.
That same year, he joined the crew of the IMOCA New Europe for the Course des Caps, where the team finished 9th. At the same time, he took part in the selection process for the Swiss Offshore Team, initiated by Alan Roura for The Ocean Race Europe. He was chosen as one of the 14 sailors selected to represent Switzerland in the IMOCA European tour planned for summer 2025.
