Originally from the Morbihan region of Brittany, this 43-year-old sailor also learned his trade on the benches of the most popular of offshore schools: the Mini 6.50 circuit! With two Mini Transat in his wake (one in 2017, when he unfortunately had to retire, the other in 2019), Erwann has a solid offshore experience: racking up the miles at sea on a small boat, alone and with no means of communication, obviously builds character!
Erwan will be Denis Van Weynbergh's co-skipper for the 2023 IMOCA GLOBE SERIES season, which will include the Rolex Fastnet Race, the Défi Azimut and the Transat Jacques Vabre.
